All out of Cherokee Purple, temp. out of Brandywine Cherry Dark
I know, crazy right? Folks, CP can be bought at Home Depot on their seed rack, if you really want some
More BCD are growing now, should have more seeds in a couple of weeks. |

I have a few extra Cherokee Purple seeds. If anyone needs it PM me, if you have something to trade, even better.
Kinda interesting, I've purchased Cherokee Purple from several sources in the last year. The seeds from Tomatofest grown out were what I know to be Cherokee Purple, the seeds I got from Baker Creek clearly are some cross with what I'd guess was a red or pink, ribbed tomato. I just ate it tonight, it was delicious, super sweet and not as earthy as Cherokee Purple. As I'm fairly new to growing tomatoes, I wonder how often something like this happens? I won't send the Baker Creek unknown cross, unless you ask for it. I saved seeds from another source that's true to type. Last edited by MissionGardens; March 8, 2016 at 12:55 AM. |
