How long do you expect your long-keepers to keep?
My favourite is Sweet Orange II, by Tim Peters, a sweet cherry. I eat it all summer and then pick all the remaining ripe fruits before frost and keep them in the house. They are still good in early April, but I haven't ever managed to grow enough to last longer. |
