Saving seeds: Likelihood of crossing without bagging?

Thanks to all for thier contributions to this thread and especially the links to the articles. As someone who has become passionate in a very short time about heirloom tomatoes and saving seed, this is wonderful information.

I agree with Glenn - a lot of great info has been shared. I love the alternative use for adult toys! LOL! I won't be taking my Sonicare toothbrush out to the garden, but I might invest in one of the cheap vibrating toothbrushes or adult toys if I can find them in a store where I will not be embarrassed to buy them (i.e., somewhere with a self checkout!)

No worries these people see folks all day long and you would just be another person.
They aren't full of creepy weirdos that will follow you around and the clerks are very professional.
