Finally, a day without massive lightening, thunder, straightline winds and drenching rains to get back here to TV.

Thank you folks for chiming in. I really appreciate it. It's good to know that basically I am tasting the same as if I would have left them on the vine.

I'm having to really watch and pick at first blush. The critters are watching too and now the birds are starting to try and move in and see what they can get.

My kitchen counter sure is getting colorful. I wish they would ripen up a bit faster. I am getting anxious to taste test some of these tomatoes that I have read so much about on here from you all.

The anticipation mounts.
