Carolyn, I did not know there was such a group - if there is, I want to be part of it too!
You are correct in your assumption that you've got 'Korol Sibiri' seeds. I am growing Korol Sibiri from 2 different sources this year, and Valery Popenko just sent me an email 2 days ago that he is sending me Zolotoy Korol seeds. If they arrive within the next 2 weeks, I may be able to grow them as well. Ami, looks like semences-partage also got it under the 'new' name that was given by Baker Creek, but they think it is 'Zolotoy Korol'... Always such a mess with these translated names... Sigh.

Carolyn, aha, got smart about it and will refer to you as: королева koroleva ........ of The Korol Sibiri goup and from trying to learn the Russian alphabet from a book Alex sent me I could actually translate the Russian word for Queen.

I'll join any group with good tasting tomatoes. If I need to show up in drag, just say the word.

Clara sent me seeds of Korol Sibiri a while ago. I will sow it of course, and it probably matches her description.

Clara also sent me some Korol Sibiri.
So I will grow out that one. But as I don't have the other won't be able to compare of course. Carol |

First few fruits (Korol Sibiri) all around 4 ½ to 5 ¼ oz, thick walls and firm fruit, mild taste with almost a floral or fruit under taste - good

I bought this as a seedling
Outrageous Golden King of Siberia.png The seedling grew up and produced this Bob's Tomato.png From the colour, I assume that the fruit is this, King of Siberia (Король Сибири) http://www.ailita.ru/catalog/tomat/27881/ Tomato The King of Siberia.jpg and not this, The Golden King (Золотой король) https://otomatah.ru/seriya-tomatov-k...-zolotoj-korol Golden King zolotoj-korol.jpg Very few seeds inside Sliced.png |

I have grown 'Zolotoy Korol' (Golden King) and it indeed was lemon-yellow, and small in stature (but not in flavor!) I'd say, it was semi-det.
The seeds were from Tania, so it seems the confusion had been cleared by the time I made the purchase. (Another semi-det yellow/golden/orange heart from Russia is Zolotoy Serdtse, which I also have grown and found very tasty even when picked green and ripened indoors..) |

RainCoast, what you have got is definitively Korol Sibiri - King of Siberia. I've grown it years ago and my tomatoes looked the same as yours.

I just harvested my first 'Korol Sibiri' tomato. Taste a bit salty, mild and sweet. I kind of like it.
