I forgot about that one which was first listed in the SSE Yearbook in 2003, but I don't really like hollow types of tomatoes, just my opinion.

http://tatianastomatobase.com/wiki/Gezahnte

I just checked my 2015 SSE YEarbook and still listed , Tania has a long entry with some of the same info as in the above link but notes pink fruits,. Jeff F in MI notes thick skin, dry flesh, mild flavor, someone from MO notes dry flesh, hollow, deeply pleated and firm enough for stuffing, and Martin from WI just says price $2. <G>

Carolyn, who hadn't realized the fruits were so small.

No, It was not developed by Creg, a Tvillian, it's one of several red striped hollow ones developed by Tom Wagner and the creg part of the real name means rock.

And the comment by the person form Germany about not tasting good, is a gross understatement IMO, and yes, I've grown it.

There's also this one:

And not one person made a comment and yes, I've grown this one as well.

Despite both being hollow I would never use either one as a stuffing tomato.

I still wonder what the 'Pink tomato' is.

Wish we had something like that on our supermarket shelves, or even on local markets... nope.

Yes, it seems they have several catalogues available with slightly different varieties.

It only says that 'Pink tomatoes' are popular in Asia, and that 'Golden tomatoes' are bright colored & sweet. Wonder what those are..

The pink one will be an established Japanese cultivar/hybrid, something like Momotaro or one of the similar varieties.

Didn't I just link to these from info perhaps from you and also Narnian?

I'm sure I did, and the conclusion was that the ribbed one was the Coure d Beauf, not that Antan one that they were offering?

Sorry, I didn't take the time to go back in this thread to see if it was here or in another thread.

Carolyn, who thinks it may have been in a thread that Scott started when he asked if anyone could ID a variety shown in a picture someone from France had shown him and I googled the label. Yes, that was it/

YES, all the info and links are in one of the first posts in this thread, and it was discussed by many at that time and conclusions made.

Carolyn, who isn't losing it completely, at least not yet.

Karen, why Zapotec Pleated when just looking at pictures I couldn't tell it from Pink Accordian, although I have grown ZP but not Pink Accordian.

http://tatianastomatobase.com/wiki/Z...b=General_Info

And here I thought from the links I posted above with an additional link fom Narnaian, Ithink, that several folks were in agreement as to what it was that the company was offering, noting that their Atan version was a heart.

I guess I was wrong in making that assumption.
