I agree but I paid only $1.99 just wish they were not mixed together.I just hope I have more Corno Di Toro plants than Banana peppers but will not know it until they ripen.Plus I'm going to give some of them to my 2 daughters.3 seeds per cell and did 9 cells.I'll keep 10 plants and give the rest to my daughters.I'll keep seeds from both and then will know what I have.lol

I am trying Corno di Toro Rosso for the first time this year. As far as the Sweet Banana Peppers go, I slice them along with hots in my lunch meat sandwiches (hoagies, poboys, grinders), hot dogs, pizza, etc... and other things to. They are a very good and versatile condiment.

I like to roast cubanelle peppers with olive oil and granulated garlic.I then make sandwiches out of them with fresh Italian bread.I plan on doing the same with both of these I started today.

try sorting the seeds. there may be... MAY BE a difference between the two varieties... or not. I don't understand the 2 mix packets of seeds. multi mix yes, but not 2 varieties.

I did not see any difference in the seeds it said 50/50 mix but how do I know that's correct.I bought them at Home Depot Sweet Blend peppers.They were not even on Burpees website.I have not heard from them after the message I sent them Saturday.Don't think I'll ever buy anything from them again no matter how much they cost.And there were not packets inside the envelope only loose seeds.

The New Mexico University Chili �� Institute has probaly some of the best,viable and true pepper Chinese’s you could pick from.I just put down a whole bunch myself.

I didn't know if it was a workable option. I have pepper seeds that are large and pepper seeds that are small. it was worth a looksee.

I didn't figure they would package them separate either. I think it is a way to get away with end runs on seeds. just mix them up and call it a blend..

We went from a sleepy little agricultural commodity type hood mainly Anglo farmers(please no offense) to a vibrant forward thinkin international market driven economy and all the goodies that come with it.The market stall now boasts almost everything you can grow from the Caribbean,Mexico to the tip of South America.It is heaven now.So far 5 different friends in our hood “claim” the habenero as their own.To each his own.The winner for taste in cooking,salsas,salads,concoctions buried in the ground for a year,and braggin rights are that devil,Trinidad Scorpian by Butch T,the Bhut Jolokia a even slither close to second by the locals here.All grown in yards around here.Great afternoon conversations followed.✌️

I got my hots in a couple of weeks ago. All 6 of the White Fatalli sprouted, but lost 2 deadheads. The Naga Peach Cross sprouted 4 out of 6. The Fatalli/ScotchBonnet Cross was 10 days behind the others, only 2 out of 6 , so far...

In the archives,search block there is a lot of info for you cold weather Gardner’s as to overwintering them.Scott in Atlanta has a neat method gained over time it seems.My brother in law a fireman keeps his “Mother’s”/ clones for years
,in the basement in straw like some other “bare root” plants.Hestays in Pa.GoodLuck.

My Jimmy Nardello and Cubannella have not come up at all.Seeds must be old.That's why I bought the corno Di Toro and Banana sweet peppers.They have not come up yet but it's only been 3 days.

I think your right.I will save seeds from mature peppers.I just hope the Banana peppers don't turn red.

well, they will turn red when they are mature but they will have totally different shapes. the banana will be narrower and a bright yellow which turns to red and the other will be green turn to red when it matures.
