That is very Cool! I think something like this would be good for a nursing home. I am thinking of buying some earth boxes for the home my MIL is. I worry they will not get watered if I am not there.

I have 6 earthboxes all conected with clear plastic hose.I use a short piece of soaker hose connected to the end of garden hose to supply water into 1 earthbox.I drilled 3/4 in holes just below the level of the drain hole to conect the other 5 boxes inline with the clear plastic hose.I drive 18 wheeler over the road and am usally out for 10 to 15 days at a time.So this method has been great for me.Only thing i think i might try next time is to use a breathable fabric over the divider tray to keep some of the bigger stuff from getting into the water and clogging the hose.I got some pics but havent figured out how to post on here yet.
