Is that the same as Burpee's Butterbush? I just picked up a pack of those today. I'm looking for a short vined C. moschata, and this sounds like just the ticket.

Every short-vined squash or pumpkin variety I tried on the farm were vastly inferior in yield to the full vine varieties.
When it came to butternuts, I grew both Early Butternut Hybrid and the OP Waltham. EBH gave me incredible yields every year, twice as much as Waltham, and were more uniform with just the right size customers preferred. |
