It took me most of the day to sterilise the pots, make up the potting mix (which is a mixture of coir peat, good potting mix, dolomite lime and a smidge of sandy soil), and then load all the pots and tubs. Then I went and got a beer and casually planted the tommys. Didn't want to stress them

Holidays. Huh? What are they.
Hey did you make your greenhouse yourself or did it come with the house. Been reading a Pommy gardening mag from MIL and they are greenhouse buffs. |

Only good thing about this job. I get all the school holidays, 11 weeks of them
I made the greenhouse myself. Initially it was an extension of the garden shed (which was a greyhound shed). Then last year I took the roof and walls off part of the dog shed to extend the GH. I wouldn't be without one. The poms really know their stuff when it comes to growing under glass. They have too eh. |
