You can't go wrong with the Ball jam recipes. I have a couple of Ball Canning books with great recipes like - Strawberry Margarita and add one hot pepper. Yum.
Buy some liquid Ball pectin, look at the recipes that come in the box. We usually combine a fruit recipe with the jalapeño recipe to make 12 half pints of jam, and add a superhot pepper to make things interesting. One of our favorites is Strawberry Jalapeno Bhut Jolokia. Then there's dry pectin for other recipes, though the process is a little different. Just experiment and have fun! |
