Sure, you can easily dig up the plants, wash the roots, and replant in new soil for the inside. I do that with about half my peppers. There is no difference in survival compared to those where I just bring in the pots.

My indoor pepper plant seem to have a hard time setting fruit. I think I need to invest in one of those viberating blossom boosters wands.
