I've ordered from Solana and though they send fewer seeds than some, the seeds have been true to type with excellent germination. I would recommend Arbuznyi, Chianti Rose, Reisetomate, Oaxacan Jewel, and Tlacolulan (Zapotec) among varieties I tried after first coming across them on Solana's site.

I ordered from Solana last year for the first time also...I ordered mainly pepper varieties , cucumbers, and 2 or 3 tomato varieties. Very near 100 % germ. on the peppers which is hard to do...I would order again as the order was timely and correct....

kygreg,
There is a vendor on eBay that used to bug the heck out of me when I was also listing on eBay. We both listed hot pepper seeds. But he was constantly re-naming fairly common seeds with some strange outlandish name just to get people thinking he had some new rare hard to find variety. I know re-naming is a pet peeve among many people here too. Carol |
