You're not going to get fruit off all those flowers. :-)

Came home from my trip to find a mess of these ripening...used them in our pasta salad tonight. I really like the flavor of this variety!

I've grown Lime Green Salad twice, and have really enjoyed it both times. Actually, I like it so much, I did two plants this spring, and will probably do two next spring as well.

For some reason, it really isn't super early for me though. Not the 58 dtm listed on the TGS site for sure.

For me this year it was 64 days - in 2005, 56 days - in 2004, 49 days! All grown in pots in my sunny driveway.

Mantis,

Either way you choose to do the cross, count me in!

I grew LGS for the first time this year, and fell in love. I experienced the same multifloral trusses as Pappa Vic, so I hope you will be able to capture that trait in the future generations.

Hi Michael,

What size grow-bag are you growing that plant in?

Nice looking plant Michael. I just planted one in a selfwatering planter, but it is still small and not picture worthy yet.

I grew LGS before, seed from southern exposure seed exchange and Craig's seed is yielding a much healthier, vigorous plant.

What a great looking plant. Mine are still very small with flowers just starting to open.
