Nice pics.

I'm also after production, as far as heirloom/op varieties go. I do the best with varieties that were once commercial varieties years ago, or at least derived from them. Some of the very newest OP varieties are also bred with production in mind.

Wow my plant wasn't anywhere near that bushy. Did you prune it any? I had 3 SOO plants but 1 was a mule. The other 2 made several big tomatoes but I limited them to 2 stems. They are around 7 ft tall but quite narrow. Production was average I'd say but the taste was so good I plan to grow again. I get more request for it than anything else. Hoping to try Claud Browns Giant yellow next year to compare. Have you grown KBX? If so which do you prefer?

talavera native agian same as rumi banjan its a good tomato with great production more than you can pick.

rebel yell this one suprised me a top 10 for flavor average production looking forward to general lee next year

tiger paw ive been singing its praise last year but this year its the only plant i pulled early blight took over quickly and flavor was not there will not grow agian

goose creek was my fav last year and is still a top 10 but i found some much larger and better tasting ones to replace it with

cherokee green is by far my most productive large tomato and i fell in love with the taste so its my top 6 for taste

this is my first cross of juane flamee and black cherry the plants are very vigorous and more tomatoes than i could pick i now have tons of f2 seeds to plant this fall.if picked early when yellow the taste is like sun gold to me and when its orange its more old fashioned sweet juane flamee tomato taste but the flesh next to the skin has a black cherry taste.i had a few that had a red stripe on them but for the most part they were all the same.they are the largest cherry ive seen.

top 5 for taste was stump of the world not super productive but loved the taste

purple dog creek this one was smaller than prudens and gregories but not as much cat facing and blew both away for flavor thats y its number4 top for flavor.the production average.i took a pic fliped over to see the cat facing.the small heart in the pic was a stump of the world but this plant threw small hearts and small beefsteaks

ok this is where the flavor realy jumped up alot and i realy havent heared the name talked about alot number 3 for taste was BRIMMER it blew me away and they are large and productive

number 2 top for flavor for me this year was earl faux not very productive but wow what a blast of sweet ok i caint explain all the flavors you get from this one.and thats y i used it in my new cross earl faux and cherokee green.and im pretty shure the cross took because i bagged the bloom.im hoping to get production from the cherokee green and the amazing flavor of E F
