Project moving along nicely got the feet made sanded off some paint and doing some tests.

Almost looks like a disaster waiting to happen.
But it worked and the drill rod is perfectly lined up in the holes and spins freely.

Holes drilled and reamed to 29/32ths and new brass bearings pressed in.
the will be reamed to size later.

Every bit of this can be done without electricity.
You can weld with gas and run the lathe and drill press off of wind power or a water wheel.
Grinding can be done with foot power.
