I knew you had it sowed up. Congrats to you and your family. Where did you get your Esterina F1 seeds?

I got them from Territorial Seed. Would you like some Marsha?
Before everyone else goes crazy just so yall know i will be sending in enough seed to the MMMM Swap for all to try. I bought a bulk supply today and they should be here before too long.

For sure, what true gentleman or lady would begrudge children of their happiness.

Way to go!

The sweet little old ladies who didn't win will all be growing something different next year - what you brought. LOL

What an exciting day for your whole family. I am pleased that the kids did so well and were so proud. I am sure that it will help for them to continue to grow tomato plants their whole lives. This one day perhaps has changed their lifetime.

Well Done!

That's awesome, I just noticed this it would have been a long drive for me but fun. Maybe next time. What did the big boys weigh in at? I've never really gone out of my way to grow big tomatoes but I got a couple this year that were in the 1.25 lbs range which I'm guessing is like a cherry tomato in a big tomato competition.

We already started a couple seeds for them when we got home. The kids were all pumped up.

Its funny because i brought tomatoes to enter in the tastiest category but realized that nobody had entered anything in the biggest catergory. I took the three bigger tomatoes i brought and entered them and won. The 1st place Moya Noire was a measly 13.7 oz.
