The last freeze so far this year was this morning. 31F (-.5C) at 5am this morning.

Going down to freezing here where I am in upstate NY on the VT border tonight.
Warnings out for apple blossoms, since we've had a warm spell, and if the blossoms get blasted,bye bye apples. And I live in apple country where there are many many commercial orchards. Carolyn

This year was tricky, not because we had late frost, but because we had really warm weather in march. Plant out date is mid may, so no problem for my tomatoes. But many plants started getting green much earlier or got blossoms. Then we had some really hard frost in April which caused a lot of damage.
