Home today and 1 of the Carolina Reaper had sprouted, also 11 that I germinated last weekend were up and going: 1 Tabasco, 3 Sh ishi tos, 5 Ozark Giants, 1 King of the North, and 1 Pimento - not bad for under 6 days.
My Biker Billy Jalapenos all have several buds on them - 6 weeks old, so the timing is perfect. I'll pinch, top and lightly prune them tomorrow ... no energy left today.

Same as starting in a napkin or paper towel. Place seeds in a moist coffee filter, fold and place in a baggy without fully sealing in a warm place. I just like using filters better because they are less porous and less likely to break off the radicle when removing germinated seed.

Thank you. Mine will all be in the ground except for 3 of the biker billy jalapenos which I am planning to grow in a single 18" pot indoors just to see if year-round peppers are a possibility.

Here'what I'm going with this year 2 Cubanelle, 1 North Star bell pepper, there already in my grow bag garden and in 2 weeks my 2 Shis!to peppers will be ready for my grow bags too. The North Star bell peppers were developed just for the northern climates I started growing this variety 3 yrs ago and its far superior to any other bell pepper I've tried in terms of fruit size or production.
