They love to dig,it's in their nature to do this.But what a funny and protective little dog.I get to attached to them. My daughter bought a house last year and moved out taking her little mini black and tan with her.I sure do miss having her around.Every now and then all three are over at the same time and you should see them barking at the front door.They always line up small to tall.Love it!

We had a doxie growing up and sis had a mini as an adult. That lil mini ruled over a 90 lb dobie male. They are adorably cute but they gotta do what they gotta do and that's dig. Git them critters!

Great plant, when do you think you will be able to taste one and tell us how it is? Looks like it's in a fabric grow bag, what size are you using?
My tomatoes are peaking right about now, gotta start freezing some soon. Noticed that the spider mites are starting to come back, have started a half hearted spraying on a couple of plants. Do you ever get them? I never did till about 2 years ago.
Jazzy my long-haired choc dox sends her regards to Tim.

Everything looks fantastic! Tim has been hard at work and deserves a nap. I don't know how I missed your post from last week. Looks great. What varieties of tomatoes (besides blue choc) and other veggies are you growing?

Thanks for the kind words, and I'll pass your message to Tim. Here's some Answers to Questions:

@peebee

- Still waiting for the Blue Chocolate to ripen, I'm guessing a couple of weeks still on that one. I grew them the last 2 years though and they do very well for me and are delicious. Things have been slow to ripen for me only have had 5-6 Candy Sweet Icicles and a couple Sweet Carneros Pink so far. I think there all going to hit at once. I've got some huge Berkeley Tie Dyes that I can't wait to ripen.

- I am using fabric bags this year for the first time. They've been great and I'm totally going to use them again. I've got 6 15 gallon smart pot bags in 9 gallon Tubtrugs to hold water. They're all on dollys with casters so I can roll them around my patio.

- So far no spider mites that I'm aware of. A healthy batch of grey leaf mold that I'm trying to control. it's nasty hard to stop and once it gets going the whole plant can go really fast. I spray pretty regularly with a rotating schedule of neem oil, soap, BT and Serenade to try and keep all my insect and fungal issues under control.

@jhp

Sweet Candy Icicles look beautiful. I'm a sucker for striped/bicolor tomatoes. How would you describe the taste?

They're definitely sweet with a touch of tartness. Really good with a sprinkle of salt. They're very nice. I thought I was going to loose the plant early on. It's very droopy looking even when it's healthy. Now it's covered with tomatoes, I glad it sprang back
