Really enjoying your beautiful pictures, Andrey! It's fun to get an idea of what it looks like where others garden. Glad your snow has finally left and you look ready to go. Your assistant, Margarita, is just adorable!

First 17 tomato plants have been transplanted in greenhouse today. All other tomato and pepper plants will be there in a week.
Flowers and greens are everywhere. And Danya's dirty paws...

Andrey, not only have I benefited from the new varieties you send me every year that I pass on to my seed producers each year, but it's your friendship I've enjoyed the most for so many years going back to when you first visited Amishland, remember that,I sure do.. We've aged together, but I'm WAY ahead of you in terms of years alive.

Is that the daughter who got the Lady Ga Ga tee shirt or your other daughter. You've posted pictures of both of them for many years.

THE pictures I think I liked best were the ones of what you and family canned in those sparkling glass jars all lined up on shelves.

Be well, and oh my,the tulips and daffodills. We have had wierd weather here and almost no daffs,no lilac buds, no tulips, no hyacinths almost all the early stuff killed by the cold weather we've been having and that includes the crocuses as well..

And yes,I'll get those seeds to you,I haven't forgotten, but not immediately and no big problem since they are for next year anyway./

Carolyn

Thanks for all comments and all these warm memories, Carolyn
Actually the story of knowing each other is even a bit longer - GardenWeb forum was before Amishland
There was Lisa my older daughter who sometimes liked to help me in the garden in 2000s. Now it is more about my younger daughter Margarita 6 y.o. who like to dig in the garden dirt much more And Lisa a former Lady GaGa fan is 16 y.o. now) She is into web surfing now much more than growing something or helping us at our Dacha...
Kids are getting bigger and changing their interests every several moments

Beautiful pictures Andrey! You have a wonderful place to garden, beautiful garden helpers, and , I love your yard and greenhouse.

It is a wonderful sight when the spring flowers pop out of the ground in all their loveliness, splendor and glory, after a long cold winter! My daffodils are in bloom now. Not sure how long they will last with all the frost we keep having... But, I will enjoy them as long as I can.

Have a great garden season!

Thanks)
Our present soil is a result of 27 years of manure, peat and compost adding to this common forest soil.

My boy enjoyed seeing you canine helper and exclaimed "que bonita perrita." I liked the urban window shots.
