Really interesting to see how many different varieties everyone has. Hardly any repeats. Makes me wear out Google trying to search all these varieties.

Black Krim for me- 7 fruits set on the first truss! Cherokee Purple- 5 set on first truss. Omar's Lebanese and Dr. Wyche's Yellow are being stingy thus far, as well as Early Girl.

Japanese Black Trifele was first to set fruit for me, followed by Big Beef, then a few days later by Sioux and Chico III.

Ambrosia gold and one of my crosses. Lots of others were close behind. Lots of the earliest blooms were/are compound this year.

Forecasted low for my area on Friday night is below freezing. The green children are still in their solo cups. Fruit set, what fruit? I'll check back in a month.

Oh you poor thing. I hope you get some warm weather soon. Heck, it will be winter up there again before you know it.

I think Orange Banana was the first to set fruit this year. Spudakee, Gary O'Sena, JDs Special C-Tex right behind. Carbon Copy was kind of slow for a cherry but catching up quickly.
It's not a real fair race, though, as I planted out over a 6 week period. Most of the dwarfs were planted pretty late.

Most of the forty one tomato varieties in my garden have good fruit set considering the cloudy, wet weather except one--Aunt Gertie's Gold. I have two plants, each about 6 ft tall and there is one 3 inch tomato on one of them. Is this typical? Maybe it doesn't like high fertility but the others including many heirlooms are thriving.
