FYI (to the kind detectives above), from the photos a Bonnie rep also thought it was Sun Sugar - but of course no confirmatory DNA fingerprinting was done

Gotta say the reaction to these little guys has been enlightening. Tomato taste must be much more subjective that I thought. From "delicious" to "too tart" from "too sweet" to "kind of sour", from "don't care for them" to "sorry I ate them all".

Thanks again.

Absolutely subjective. I grew one called Little Sun Yellow this Spring in my greenhouse to sell as potted cherry tomatoes. I can't begin to think why it is sold. BORING BLAND and BLAH is the best description I can think of... BUT I have had several people tell me it was a good tomato. I even tried it again last night thinking the fruit looked a little yellower and maybe I was picking it too green. NOPE, it was still BLAH.

I'd say sun sugar as well. I've grown it a few years and that's what it looks like. I love them, but again, taste is so subjective.

It looks like sunsugar to me but I don't have a great eye for details on tomatoes.

Pics of mine

Funny though, a couple years back I had the exact same issue identifying the first sunsugar plant we grew. Tag was lost but I knew it had the words golden sugar and cherry in it. So far everyone says they taste great.
