asmx, did I already tell you that you are an angel? If so, probably not often enough!

Looking good! You're several weeks ahead of me, I just planted in the starter pots last Saturday and Sunday.

What part of Germany are you in if I may ask? I spent a few years in Vilseck back in the early 90's

With me winter came back. Snow on the roads and -10 degrees this night. (14 F)
My tomatoes and peppers must stay in the house.

Hello asmx,
we are geographically close to each other, so I am sending some pictures for comparison. I probably started a bit later than you: seeding took place between Feb 17 and 19. Are you in Zone 6a as me?
Picture one: the above mentioned seedlings in the forefront. March 9. My Start F1s slightly right of center.
Picture two: the same batch on March 15.
Picture three: the last seedlings of the batch to be transplanted. April 1.
I grow them at home as I have no glasshouse.

I started 15th January. My house is not very warm, so the plants do need longer.
My plants stay in the house till they can go out. At the moment it is winter with me grrrrrr
Your plants are looking very good!
Starts F1 I have in cultivation, too.

Thank you, Anneliese.
Yours are pretty nice, too.

Yes, I am totally annoyed with the weather. Last year April was warm and sunny, but the frosts came in mid-May. So I hope that cold April could actually be a good omen as history never repeats - that is Mother Nature's history. Human history is another kettle of fish.
Actually, which part of Germany do you live in? North, South? I just want to compare our climatic conditions.
