It's a good thing I'm not the one naming tomatoes. I saved some seeds from a large 1+lb. tomato that was not what it was supposed to be at all. I was thinking of what to write on the label, but only came up with "Big *** Tomato"
 I guess if it grows the same next year - I'll have to try to figure out what it really is.There are ones like Arkansas Traveler and Texas Wild Cherry, Floradade, Missouri 15, etc. |

P.S. - Hmmm. Now I'm considering adding a bed for varieties named after animals -- Pineapple Pig might go well with Goatbag, which I have seeds for but can't grow until next year. And I wonder if there are others...

You are very welcome. In my limited experience with Rebecca Sebastian's Bull Bag it has produced well and has large irregular shaped fruits. One year I got over 35 lbs of fruit and they averaged 1.5lbs with one being close to 2.5. I think I remember that they get soft fairly quickly, but that may have been weather related that year. I am growing it again this year and also a cross of RSBB and McCoy. |
