There's no corn on the cob! Albertson's had it in their sales paper 8 ears for $2, but there wasn't any. That seems to happen often here at that store.
Some homemade Mac and Cheese may take its place depending on what the other stores nearby have in the way of corn on the cob. It is off-season for corn here where sooo much corn is grown. Last edited by AlittleSalt; March 30, 2018 at 10:13 PM. Reason: typo |

Usually cook a leg of lamb, but not this year...
Going to The Ariston ....Prime rib, ham, halibut, it's all good. And I don't have to do any dishes! |

Ham in with the scalloped potatoes, green salad. That is plenty more than I can eat, LOL, and I am sure Belle will get some as well. Though Belle is not a fan of green salads unless there is gravy on it.

My grandmother ( father's side) used to make the cheese like that, in a wooden pyramid. I liked it as a child, haven't had it since then. Good Easter to you, Andrey and your family. |

Thanks for posting the link, Andrey.
If my in-laws were still alive, we'd be with them having kielbasa with horseradish, pierogi, and babka (my two favorites are cheese and poppy seed) for brunch, and then joining my family later in the day for the full Italian spread. Tomorrow it'll be a late (and large!) Italian lunch with the traditional Easter ham tossed in just for good measure! |

Ham, klobasi, sauerkraut, Hrudka(Easter Cheese) and potica. I forgot about poppyseed roll this year. My aunts always had a discussion as to whose was best...not enough filling or not rolled thin enough.
Happy Easter to all!

I came home from a long day at a tire shop buying tires and getting an inspection sticker.
Stopped at the store and didn't have a clue what I wanted for easter so I got myself 3 choices. Bratwurst, catfish Po boys or more hot wings. |
