Steve - have you ever been in a Greenhouse in Sacramento in August? The project is to mist the plants with cooled water so they wont burn up in the intense heat.

The fan misters in the photo at Bush Gardens is Exactly what we are trying to replicate. The photo link is labeled "mistermister" but a web search turns up no Company with that name. Any idea of where I might source something like these?

Honestly, I just remember them because I used to live down the street from Busch Gardens and usually had a season pass. I found that pic with google images.

Got it. I guess moisture from misting would evaporate quickly. (The closest I've been is Huntington Beach, where I lived for a while, and no greenhouse.)

I even have problems with heat in my greenhouse in Norway.

This might be what you want. Page 37, the Netafim vibro-net misters. Most likely would hang them from 1/2 tubing. You will also need a punch tool to make the hole in the tubing to snap the dripper assembly into it. You would have to hang at least three runs of tubing on 5 foot centers to get 20' of coverage width, as the largest diameter of coverage is 4-6'. If you wanted to guarantee full coverage, you would do for lines on 5' centers.

Those links are very helpful. The CoolNET solution is exactly what would fit the project. Just need to calculate head spacing to give the necessary coverage.
