A new season, a new home, a new garden full of my new tomatoes.

All planted up now. Tearing up the house packing like mad and regretting my pack rat tendencies but the local thrift store is getting lots of donations and we have been selling a bunch of things that we don’t have room for.
I am not a fan of moving…
Hope to stay put.

The group of unstable new tomatoes that will be coming along. Potted up a week ago now, seed sown March 22. A couple of the earliest little ones have set a few little fruits so far.

That’s what my husband says as he anticipates all the moving….


It’s going to be quite a chore to get them there but once we are settled, we will have an instant garden

Several years ago, I brought all my homemade compost when we moved 100 miles away. It took about 7 extra rented van loads over the 3 months of our extended move time to get all the plants etc. (and most of the books!) to the new place. At one point I'd had 5 compost bins going.

And then when we moved locally 2 years after that (literally next door), it all had to be carted or carried over, but at least a bunch of friends came over to help. And some of the garden stuff was already at the community garden, so it didn't have to be moved.

That’s a chore
I am leaving a lot behind for the next owners of this house, but I’m gaining another nicely landscaped yard complete with a small greenhouse so I’m excited to get moved and figure out the new yard

How fortunate you are to have such a large well maintained space for your grow outs! That should help speed up your selection process for your many varieties. Looks like a classy operation. Plants look great!
