For those of you who mentioned the BER, Filmnet also said the same on his pictures of Jaune Flamme in the photo Forum, so I was in general commenting only on the fruit form, but yes, BER not good, and maybe the next set of fruits will be rounder, a word I just made up.

And when the fruits turn color all should be well. Maybe the fruits could be a bit oblate ( flattened) so we shall see.

In any case a darn good variety as I see and taste it.

I hope so, out of 7 pots i got BER in 3 pots. the new little ones on the jaune Flamme do not have BER now. I should have put the plants in the ground. I did grow all my plants this year, and as i look at the same plants i gave away, mine are growing best. by far. I am having a great year so far, and if a plant dies it is ok this year. i learned a lot so far.

Whenever I've planted tomatoes or peppers in a container and forgot to put some Dolomitic Lime, I've regretted it due to BER.

I did but some in, a cup of garden lime, nice compost,bone meal, with nice light dirt. This year water come down, and out, nice in the pots, i can see it as i water them. Other pots are ok, put the plants are not as happy as the plants in ground.
