Here is the whole list of the maters I have germinated so far. Earl's Faux,Michigan State,Summer Cider,Vorlon,Celebrity,Al-Kuffa,Cowlick's Brandywine,Indian Stripe,Spudakee,Abe Lincoln,Costoluto Genovese,Costoluto Fiorentino, Stump of the World,Clint Eastwood's Rowdy Red. That's 14 and counting. All the seedlings so far look strong and healthy.

Carolyn, now I'm confused! The last post on this thread: http://www.tomatoville.com/showthread.php?t=10410

states that the correct spelling is Guildo

Default Gildo Pietroboni

Hi-There were later posts actually. Type Gildo into "search" and you'll find them.
Gildo was confirmed to me by relatives of Gildo Pietroboni.

Thanks for the response! I just meant the last post of that particular thread... which I believe was posted by you, actually. It's good to know the true correct spelling since I intend to hunt some seeds down before next year, lol!!!

And my seeds were from Neil ( retiree) who just posted, so Gildo it is.

There were a few spellings of it around earlier, until Neil was able to confirm the correct spelling of Gildo. Actually I and some others may have used the spelling of Guildo at first, which was wrong.

'Guildo' (not 'Gildo') was in the original letter that Ferp Necciai sent to David Lemasters along with the seeds. Was it a spelling error in the letter?

Default Gildo Pietroboni

Yes, just a spelling error. Relatives of Gildo confirmed the spelling.

Thank you Neil!

I will make sure all my notes reflect the correct spelling of Gildo Pietroboni.
