I grew Nyagos this year and they had excellent flavor. So did my Black Sea Man tomatoes, which I grew in containers. My Black Krim was great but didn't produce as much since I put it in a sub-optimal spot. The Nyagos has been incredibly productive and is setting OK in the heat. Some Texas have reported problems with Nyagos in particular being eaten by birds, but mine is under netting so I wouldn't know.

Other than that potato leaf Indian Stripe, Black Krim was also my favorite. I never got any nearly that big nor were mine that dark. My darkest tomato this year was Gary O' Sena and it also made the largest toms of the dark tomatoes. For some reason none of the dark tomatoes got as dark as last year. You might want to try JDs Special C Tex because it gave the Black Krim a run for it's money and didn't split nearly as bad.

Did you save any seeds from the huge Bk. Krim? I would love to buy some.

I'm sorry, no I haven't saved seeds. I'm just getting started with growing heirlooms.

But you can get Black Krim seeds many places - mine weren't anything special. It was so huge because that fruit was from fused blossoms - the rest of the fruits on the plant were regular sized.

Black Krim made a big hit with my family this year. It is one of the first blacks to make it into my garden. The flavor was very good and it will be back again for 2011. Shared these and Black from Tula with my neighbors and they like them too. I recomend both to anyone.

Black Krim is our favorite this year too, amazing flavors and decent numbers. We have maybe 10-15 more that we hope ripen before the first freeze.
