Well said Feldon.

I do not recommend watching that video if you planning on vacationing in Central America anytime soon.

Our son had also a "hornworm friend" last summer. It pupated in mid August and finally yesterday emerged from the cocoon as a Sphinx Moth.

We released the moth, even its offspring may cause trouble later.

Your daughter is much braver than I am! I found a tomato hornworm today and tried to pull it off with some tongs but he was really hanging on there. I still didn't want to touch it, even with my gloves, so I just cut the branch off with the creature on it. And I have two kids in diapers so you know what my hands touch several times a day and I still didn't want to come in direct contact with that hornworm!

Okay, I just watched the wormy video. Now I'm ready to take a spork and do a partial lobodomy on myself to get rid of the mental image left behind. EWWWWW! Me and my curiosity!
