Two copies of Baker Creek, yesterday.
Jere should know by now his customers aren't into cloning.

I finally received my first catalog; Park Seed. I usually get a Fedco catalog (and several others). I like Fedco's Seed catalog and their Tree catalog.

Default parks catalog

With regard to Parks: Earlier this year, they couldn't fill my order. I had sent a check for payment. It took a couple of months and a number of telephone calls to get my money returned. It was my understanding that they were going belly up or being bought out. Anyone have any up to date info on their situation?

I had so many plans for this weekend, so many things to get done. But the BC catalog came yesterday and.....

My wife calls it my veggie porn.

On Park Seed- I had a horrible time ordering from them in the Spring last year. I never did get the order after several months of trying. I swore never to order from them again. They filed for bankrupcy but must have reorganized because they never stopped doing business. I got over my anger because I can't stand the idea of them going out of business and they do have some nice stuff. I have made three small orders from them since the Spring and they all shipped fine. I will order from them in the future but smaller orders only.

I did.

Wanna make something about it, huh?

Some good new pictures, some interesting looking new tomatoes and other stuff, you know, just Johnny's continuing their excellence as a seed company, with which I agree.

After all, they've got my Joe's Long Cayenne pepper in there and I was supposed to send the seeds for Cherokee Green, now listed, but let Craig do it, but did send them the seeds for ARRG quite a few years ago.

I still think they can do better with the heirloom tomato varieties they offer, but, well, it's not my place to suggest others although over the years I've sent them lots of varieties for trial. I was actually shocked when they wanted to add Eva Purple Ball, not b'c it isn't a great variety, it is, but sheesh, with so many others out there........exit stage left, but I was told they wanted that one for their commercial customers b'c it's pretty much a no blemish, very productive, tasty variety.
