The greenhouse looks great. I've been saving windows for such a project. Seeing how yours came together, inspires me to pester my construction buddies (more windows) and get busy building this spring. Thanks for sharing, very nice.

Very good work! I'll show the pics to my son! (Since some years, he's promising me a self built greenhouse, but he has been so busy with his studies...) clara

Beautiful. If that was mine, I'd be looking for a place to hang the hammock and put in a beer fridge. Congratulations, your season just got longer.

Thank you everyone for the nice comments! It was 10-below last Sunday morning when we woke up..But the sun was shining and by afternoon the unheated GH was 59 degrees..I could have stayed out there all day!!

Thank's Bullish..I am cutting back on the amount of tomatoes I plant inside of GH this year. I had 50 different varieites, but even spaced 2 1/2 - 3 feet apart, (and some were in containers) it was a few to many, but only because I had a hard time maneuvering around all the plants when I had a lot of other vegetables and fruit growing inside as well. I am planning to have more large hanging baskets to grow more herbs, strawberries etc..I have two dwarf fruit trees, a peach and sweet cherry, growing in large drum barrells cut in half, that are in the center.
I had too many armenian cukes, and tomatillos..Will cut back this year..All the plants did well, despite the jungle..I just want to make it more enjoyable to walk around... Ginny |

Very nice, congratulations on your building skills. It can get a little stressful putting together a project using scrap material but in the long run I bet your GH is much better built than a "kit" greenhouse. I am starting to build a baby GH ( 8x16) in my city backyard from recycled materials. Designing and building the GH from re-cycled materials requires a lot of thought and the finished product looks so easy. I can see many hours of enjoyment in your GH, good job.
