Why waste time on a 6 pounder. There was a guy on ebay selling seeds from the world record tomato, an 8lb 12 oz Big Zac. Of course I sent the seller a question asking for the documentation of this. His reply was he grew it and weighed it. I don't believe Guiness ever showed up.

Guiness was there in quantity - that's why he read the scale as 8 lbs plus.It was probably more like 3 lbs.

Oh, forgot to say, I got some giant macaroni seeds for sale. $25 per pound. Enough to plant a half acre! Just let me know whether you want shell or corkscrew.

Remember when the Bhut Jolokia (spelling?) hot pepper seeds were selling for a dollar apiece.

Bhut Jolokia is everywhere! But as for the 6 lb Giant....just rollin the dice, If something big becomes of it, that would nice. And I will be more than happy to share seeds from these if they do make a monster. Thanks for the help- |

Quoting you from your post at another site:

The general consensus here is that if it walks like a duck, squawks like a duck, swims like a duck and flies like a duck - in all probability it's a duck.

Folks should also be aware that this same site is also illegally selling PVP protected varieties; one example is their renamed "Atlantica Giant 1000" aka Dill's Atlantic Giant.
I'm no advocate of PVP patents, but I wouldn't do business with anyone that is deliberately breaking the law or being deceptive with names/descriptions, regardless of whether it be selling seeds or anything else.
