AAA Sweet Solano Evan Purple Pear Haley's Purple Comet Michael Pollan Pink Boar Red Boar Sweet Carneros Pink There were some others I wanted to try but at the time I ordered the seed was sold out. I am looking forward to these. I have grown Pink Boar before and it was really a nice looking tom. |

I am also a fan of these tomatoes. My favorites are BTD and BTD pink, pink boar, haley's purple comet, and evans purple pear. Michael Pollen is a very unique tomato as well. I'm growing it again this year.
Last year one of the Haley's purple comets plants I grew turned out to be an intense red color. I saved seed from this one and I'm growing it this year to see if I get the same thing because it was fantastic. Also trying BTD red.

The only one I've grown is black and brown boar. This year was a repeat and it has earned a spot in my garden. It is prolific, tons of 4-8 ounce fruit, beautiful and very tasty. Some of my friends think it is the best tasting tomato I grow. It has a complex flavor profile, but, doesn't have the flavor of beef steak size blacks in my opinion, but still is delicious.

I've grown Berkeley Tie dye. I like that one. I really love Pork Chop though. It is pretty, but more importantly, it tastes really good to me. If you like juicy flavorful fruit, you'll really love it.
Here's a link to the fruit not ripe yet. http://seedsample.com/wp-content/upl...stillgreen.jpg Here's a link to my ripe fruit pic. http://seedsample.com/wp-content/upl.../porkchop2.jpg Remy

Remy, Those are some nice sized tomatoes. How much did each one weigh, I planted 2 pork chop plants about two weeks ago hoping for a late crop. Tim |

They averaged between 1/2 lb. and a lb. It was pretty hot and dry last year so in a better year, they might be a tad bigger.

Well, I just sowed seed for Pork Chop, Pink Berkely Tie Dye, and Large Barred Boar. I'm super excited for these!!! Can't wait to see what they look like, and more importantly, taste them.

I am growing Brads mostly this year, I did grow a tiny plant of Pork chop last year, we had so much heavy rain in June over nights 1/2 on my 18 different plants were only 3 ft tall all year. I have never seen this before, my pork chop fruit was so large for the small plant it was funny looking
