Yeah, so did I. When we first moved in we would collect the rinds in a bag in the freezer and freeze them before taking them to the compost bin thinking it would break them down quicker but we got lazy! I would suggest keeping them covered
underneath another layer. The squirrels and possums eat the fruit and hide the rinds all around my yard and if these husks become dry they seem to take longer to break down. |
