I wouldn't make it without my headlamp. Being a grad student I am at school/work for long, random hours, so the night time is my only certain gardening time of the week. War eagle to you too!

Lyle,

I have pruned the plants to either 1, 2, or 3 leaders. I feel bad every time I am out there pruning, but the necessity was highlighted by a few TVille members from the deep south. I am trying to minimize the overall amount of leaf cover and increase airflow in hopes of catching pests early, and mitigating the diseases I will encounter.
