Being that the name is Danish, it is a reference to Tom's 2009 tour, during which he also had some workshops in Denmark. Don't know if any particular person is intended, though. As Lange Ærmer means "long sleeves", this tomato is probably related to Green Sleeves, another of Tom's varieties.
