I think your birthday is the perfect time to plant tomato seeds for your location. I have almost the same micro-climate here (north of Escondido) and I seed my main outdoor crop Feb 15th. Casino Chips is a strong grower, and it produced into December this year - it should do well for you. Best of luck with your birthday tomatoes! Steve |
