Thanks Ray! How is the weather in your Area? We touched close to 90F yesterday. But its cooling back down thank goodness. Don't want hot temps too soon here.

Everyone, looking good. I've only got the ungrafted sungold nubs showing at present.

Ray, thanks for the link to your trellis mfg., that's just what I needed.

Hi Ray, I grabbed the Dalen trellis netting you recommended. It was enough to fill up four panes of five single-story Burpee cages with plenty left-over. It took most of the day to tie up the panes. Very tedious work, that made my brain feel dull. I hope it lasts for many seasons to come. I found that it really only took a 2 square x 4 square web to fill the interior cage. Since their are 8 squares width by the 30' run, I was able to cut out strips of three runs per width.

I posted a few pics of the result. The EarthTainers are all housing pepper plants. I also posted a close-up of the first fruit to pop on my Maxifort-grafted Goose Creek (in my raised bed). I can't wait to get my teeth into one of those.
Thanks,
Naysen

Naysen,

Great job on the trellis netting install. Please save me a couple of your grafted Goose Creek plants next Spring.

Hey Ray, thanks for checking them out. So far, I'm happy with the netting. I can't wait to see it fill up with lots and lots of peppers. We use them in just about every meal at the manor.

If grafting works out for me this year, you can be sure I'll be kicking it up a gear next season. I'll have plenty to share. Maybe Marla and I can go in together on a shipment your way.

Look forward to reading your grow post.

Good evening.

Well, those in the EarthTainers are my peppers, but that last pic was certainly a tomato. Yes, ETs/ITs are great.

Delerium and Naysen,

Your tomatoes are looking great. This is such a fun time of year! Everyone's gardens overall look really good - I think we're all trying to grow as much of everything as we can possibly squeeze in LOL!

BTW, wasn't quite sure where to post but posted a few photos on the grafting thread and the noir de crimee thread just a little while ago.
