OK, I should poke holes under the bag too. Thanks.
The bags are 2 cubic feet. I roll the tops down an inch or two and it really looks nice.
I can't save soil here, or compost, and since the bag is choked with roots at the end of the season, I just roll the trash can to the dead plants and away they go to the landfill.

Most likely, yes.

The problem is that I also like
Neptune's Harvest Organic Fish/Seaweed Blend Fertilizer
http://www.neptunesharvest.com/fs-191.html

so I’ll have to find a solution to use both.

I love Big Bloom and I would like to use the entire set from Fox Farm
http://www.amazon.com/Fox-Farm-FX140...ords=big+bloom

The only problem is that only Big Bloom is ORGANIC. Grow Big and Tiger Bloom are NOT. I’m sure they are awesome products, but I prefer to grow my plants organic.

I had BAD experiences with those 5 gl. buckets from Home Depot: short, thin plants, no fruits. Maybe I over-watered, maybe I made too few holes at the bottom of the bucket, maybe the soil was not fluffy enough, maybe… Anyway, I’m not going to use those buckets anymore.

I had EXCELLENT results with BIG plastic boxes like this one – the bigger, the better:

Probably because they are bigger… And the soil was fluffier...

So, everything will go in the ground, where ALWAYS everything was fine.
Daniel,
On the feeding - I meant using the 5 gal jug, not the fox farm. Lol
Everything will go in the ground- always hard to argue with results!

Yes, but I’ll think again. Tx.

Ooooook. My bad.
No, for feeding all season, I use the Pre-Mix Sprayer (Gilmour) [ $14.67 - 40% off right now ]

True, but actually, probably I’ll use 2 big plastic boxes, if I’ll not do a few earthtainers, as tlintx suggested.

Yesterday my seedlings looked like this:

Today they look like this:

What happened was a malfunction of openining the lid – not Univent’s fault, my improvisation’s fault, trying to open bigger. Few hours later, when I came home the lid was closed and 137’ F inside.

What do you think I could do?

Oh the humanity!
I have no idea what to do in this situation. Nothing for 24 hours or so to see if anything bounces back? A heavy prune and hope for new shoots?

What I CAN do is offer you my extras. I should have at least a dozen and possibly twice that. Barring any catastrophe's on my end through the end of this week of course. I am just north of Mineola so not too far away.

Well I hope some recover.
My extras are just that -extra. I had unexpected success with grafting this year. So I have extra grafted plants too.
So if you don't take'em I still have to give them away!

Wow, Daniel...what a spot of bad luck. Here's hoping everything works out in the end, between your backups and James' generous offer.

Oh man except for a couple of plants it looks like you should toss them they are cooked. I would be tempted to start over. You never know what the weather will bring when you grow outdoors so growing in that nice grow box your plants may catch up if the weather doesnt cooperate when people are rushing to plant outdoors. I think I read in a forum someone in New Hampshire already planted out this weekend. you might want to just automatically prop open the lid now in the morning and close at nitetime.

@ Deborah and lycomania: tx for your nice thoughts.

@ lycomania: technically, you’re right, but I start with seedlings, so that’s... “my” square one.
