Ted, sorry to hear of your loss due to an unfortunate chain of events.
Interesting that your farmer neighbor has the stones to seek damages I trust that you will file a counter suit. |

Ted, I am so sorry to hear of this for you.... is there any way to identify each variety or have you already cleaned it all up? if you can put the tomatoes back in the ground and cover them with a sheet or paper to shelter them and see if they will reroot. I have done that and the few I tried survived. You may have a later crop but they will still be the same you started with.

Thanks, folks, for the good thoughts and kind words. I've already removed all the damaged plants and the remnants were ground up and put on one of the compost piles. I need time to spruce up my bass boat and get it ready for fall fishing, so I decided to just cut my losses and we'll look forward to next year.
