It took me a long time to understand how a Word file could be e- mailed, I was too stupid to go to the FAQ. I’ve just done it ! If some can’t read PDF files they may be more lucky with the Word version. As pictures on Word files don't always travel well on the web I add the same file in PDF.

Sincere thanks to Dustdevil who opened the way !

Excellent article! Thanks for posting it dustdevil. And Carolyn, you look fabulous!

The only error I see in the article is calling Burpee's Supersteak an heirloom. It was a great tasting beefsteak tomato which I grew for my NJ farm market for 10+ years, but it's definitely a hybrid.

It is always nice to see an article like that!

Bark, I do not look fabulous but thanks for trying to cheer me up.

Without going back to the article to check it wouldn't have been me who made a comment about Burpee's Supersteak b'c I never grew the variety and never wanted to.

Great article on a great person! I think you look lovely, and feisty, which I expected!

Great article! I thought I had read it in 2012, but when I read it again; it seemed to contain a lot of new information. I've saved the .pdf file for future reference.

Yes, thanks indeed for posting the article, DustDevil.

Dennis has an interesting writing style. It's an entertaining article, but frankly I was hoping for more background on Carolyn, further examples of her heirloom tomato wisdom, and more details on her book. But with only two pages there's an unfortunate space limitation.

Anyway, I'm glad for what was offered up. I hope it inspires some additional recognition for Carolyn. Who knows, maybe down the road she'll have a guest spot on the Food Network.
