Default Leaving them out now...

With the mild weather we're having I am leaving them out overnight now. I'm glad, the daily treks were getting tiring...

Hi Rebel,

I'm from the Eastern Shore and will be going down there in a week or so (for turkey hunting) and I wanted to know where you get your mushroom compost?

Your plants sure are a wonderful sight!

Thanks

I've been getting my compost from Yardworks Plus in Easton. Good luck with the Toms..... (plants and birds!)

This is my second year with mushroom compost. I've been very happy with it.

I planted Thursday. The irrigation guy came out yesterday and got the sprinkler system going for the season. Looks like we're in for a little bit of a cool down and some wind later this week but this weekend sure has been nice and the plants love it, too.

Looking great! hopefully the nights will stay warm for you for now on so you can leave them outside all of the time.

It was a good run this past week but they are now back inside and will remain so for at least several days. Once this round passes they'll come back out for a week and then I can probably plant out.

Hope that wind isn't too bad for my little cabbage I finally put out. But my baby Toms are tucked away in the unheated garage it usually runs 10 to 15 degrees warmer in there. I will have to wear the long johns turkey hunting on Friday. The never ending winter........
