Had our first 2 Stupice a week ago, so much better than store bought. We have another 2 ripening on the vine now. Zone 5A/B, earliest non-cherry in the garden. Planted out about May 1st, under adverse conditions, the 2 plants are troopers, highly recommend for colder climates.
P.S. I'll have seed available for trade if anyone is interested, just send me a PM. Last edited by neoguy; July 3, 2014 at 07:57 PM. |

My Stupices are still only slightly larger than a cherry. I do wish they would hurry up! We are finally having a streak of nice sunny weather, but it's not much above 70.

LOL, no picture at the time of harvest and I'm sure you wouldn't want a post harvest pic at this time.
Good on you for the 5, my wife would be making BLT's with 5 of those little babies. |

Edweather, did you find it hard to fill them up? Any particular brand you recommend? I like your set up. I'm giving it serious thought for next year.

Sharon, It's pretty easy to fill them up. I just turn a 5 gal bucket over and put the WOW over it, and fill it up with the hose, then lift out the bucket. Actually the trickiest part is removing them. A little practice is necessary but you'll get the hang of it. Any brand is fine. I think Gurneys sells the red ones now, and if you use the $25 coupon they offer early in the season it really cuts down the price...they can be a bit expensive, but they last for years.....as long as you keep the lawn mover away from them
