Everything looks great, I really like all the containers. Best of luck on the strawberry patch.

Beautiful! Everything looks so incredibly healthy! If this is the small one, I'd like to see the big one too!

The main (large) garden is in the background on the pic #6 in post #1.

SO nice! Can I ask why the tomatoes are under the plastic covered frames? Wouldn't they get too hot?

Very nice. It is really weird to me seeing lettuce and tomatoes at the same time. Down here lettuce bolts about the time you could set out the first tomato seedlings. Your days must still be relatively cool for the lettuce to look so good along with tomatoes.

How do you keep up with so many plants? The most I ever had planted at one time was around 125 and by the time they got larger they were working me to death and I was much younger then.

It is cool and damp here, up until early July. The chances of getting a ripe tomato from unprotected plants are <20%.

Plastic gives them the warmth they need, and protects from the rain (and late blight). We can be having the non-stop drizzling for a month, with several downpours up to 2 inches rain overnight. That's common in May and June. And from mid-August the rain is back here.

Our daily highs rarely go above 72F, and nights are chilly. Needless to say that we do not have air conditioner in our home, and I sleep under warm blanket all summer, with maybe an exception of 2-5 exceptionally warm nights (in the 60F). The normal nights temps are in lower to mid-50s in summer time.

To sum this up, we are very challenged as far as the warm weather goes.

So lettuces and brassicas are thriving there, and peppers and tomatoes struggle. Bill, this is why we get everything going at the garden at the same time - lettuce, green onions, tomatoes, cukes, peppers.

Very nice. Is that a Moose proof fence around them?

You know how I guessed that? I built a 7ft fence around my garden that has veggies in it that moose love, and harvested for me way too often. Broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage is their favorites, they also like to trim the carrot tops, but the carrots never minded that.
Just kinda funny how that was one of the items in the pic, that I took note of. My dad went as far as to put an electrical wire on top of his fence.

We have 3 strands of electrical wire around the fence. That stops bears from raiding our plum and apple trees.

Tatiana,
Amazing, peaceful and beautiful! I did notice a serious lack of garden cats though...
