Latah (~45? DTM) for a very early tomato, although the taste was "variable" in my first year trialing it.
Early Wonder Pink is my benchmark for flavor (~52 DTM, for me) in an early. |

Cleaota Pink
I have read a claim that Cleota Pink is 70 days, a bit later on others, what have any of you found on this?
I will suggest Sasha's Altai for any of you who have not tried it that likes early tomatoes. Small plant, decent size tomatoes and good too Thanks for all of the suggestions, and as expected, some of you did suggest some I have not tried. That sure was easy, thanks Tomatovillians Last edited by AKmark; December 11, 2014 at 04:21 PM. |

A couple I forgot to mention... been thinking about this since I read this post 3 days ago... some of these veer wildly from your red, salad sized description, but what the heck? They are all early AND taste good.
Fruhe Liebe Danko Dwarf Arctic Rose Lime Green Salad (I know it's not red, but it's fabulous and very early!) Utyonok (also not red, but yellow and very early) Rosella Purple YUM! Robin If you want seeds for any that I have mentioned, PM me. I probably have extras of most of them. |
