Charley I have been watching for a while and I want to say something If you may.
Folks this is what a setup and tomato growth is supposed to look like and what mine look like when I do it. Very well done my friend. On a side note if you right click on the last sideways image and click on veiw image it will turn upright. At least it does for me. And I also like the dog it looks very content. Worth |

Here's the megabloom on March 7. This is the 4th week since the 1st pictures were posted. The whole plant is producing flowers and fruit now, but this is the only megabloom noted to this point.

March 21 - Not much difference, but the single bloom above the megabloom looks to be catching up in size.

March 28 - It is hard to get a good shot of the megabloom now. It is on the bottom of the whole plant and is surrounded by other fruits. It is the bottom fruit in this picture.

You have got to be kidding me!
I was expecting to see a ripe tomato. Still sitting on pins and needles. Worth |

Don't forget that this plant was only transplanted on Feb 2 (Ground Hog Day), so it is is just getting to 60 days old on those terms. I don't expect ripening for another 2 weeks....we'll see.

April 6 - Today I harvested the megabloom tomato from my indoor Banded Amazon plant. I weighs 7.25 oz. Banded Amazon is generally not a big tomato, but I've had single ones bigger than this megabloom. Perhaps it is so small because it was the first fruit on this plant. The plant is still loaded with fruit so I'll see what else comes.
I'm going to hold off on slicing this fruit for another day or two because it is still a bit firm. |

April 7 - Well, I'm a bit disappointed. I sliced the megabloom fruit too early in my eagerness. It wasn't fully ripe and thus had the tartness of too green a tomato for perfect flavor. I was also struck by the lack of seeds in this fruit. I suspect later fruits from this plant will be quite better.
