Bully,
Super cool picture. Earl, This is my first time growing SFT. I need to find out for myself if it is truly "yuck". Cheers, Angelique |

Mine have finally sprouted ~
Now I'm at least excited to see what leaf type I will have in regards to other pics seen here ~ Will have to give it a full taste test and early test as well ~ ~ Tom

I was KIDDING!!! I've probably caused more people to grow SFT than most anyone else in the world. :-) It's been the first fresh tomato I've eaten each year for the last 6 years! I always plant two plants, and they're the first to give fruit.
I said that to tweak Carolyn. LOL. For years now, we've been goodnaturedly kidding each other about SFT. I think it's "WOW!" Carolyn thinks it's "Yuck!" I think I told her I wasn't going to be satisfied untill everyone in the world had tasted SFT and said either wow or yuck. :-) |

Hey, I thought you said they were one and the same, SFT and CL. So it must all be in your mind! LOL.

Hi Earl. No problem I look forward to trying SFT and many other varieties that are new to me this year. Even DH is excited. Every year, DH has become a little more interested in tomatoes.
We went to Carl's Jr. today. While eating, DH deliberately took of his cardboard tomatoes from his hamburger and said "These suck, when are we going to have tomatoes?" |

Funny, angelique. Reminds me of when my son came home from a visit from college. He told me how bad the tomatoes were in the cafeteria and how much he missed mine. Heck, I didn't even know he liked tomatoes!

I have both SFT and Carrot-Like (via JerseyJohn), and they did grow identical for me last year. I like the unusual foliage, compact size of the plant, the earliness and productivity. And the taste was not that bad either IMO  Although the SFT and Carrot-Like were all forgotten when the large tomatoes started coming...
